HEALTH AND WELLBEING ARE ALWAYS TOP OF OUR AGENDA

Our Wellness strategy comprises four key areas: Healthier Mind, Healthier Food, Healthier Body and Healthier World.

By providing the right offer, education and environment, we believe that we can help to change people's lives for the better.

MEET LEANNE KING

OUR HEAD OF NUTRITION & WELLBEING

Leanne is a registered Public Health and Sport & Exercise Nutritionist who works to improve health and create awareness through education, development of healthier products and clearer nutrition labelling.

She works closely with our chefs and food development teams to improve the nutritional profile of the food we serve and provides nutrition education through seminars and resources to support customer health and wellbeing.

Leanne has completed several site visits offshore, auditing compliance to recipes and delivering nutrition education programmes to our customers. As a result of her commitment and expertise, ESS became the first catering company to provide full front of pack labelling offshore.

HEALTHIER MIND

We are committed to supporting the mental and physical health of our customers and colleagues.

Food and mental health are closely linked, so we make sure we fill our menus with dishes that fuel both mind and body. We dedicate time to educating our customers and colleagues on the best way to maintain good mental health and provide resources covering a range of topics, from reducing stress to improving sleep.

The positive impact of community on mental wellbeing cannot be underestimated, so we create social environments that encourage our customers to meet with colleagues and share a drink or bite to eat.

HEALTHIER FOOD

Our culinary team work closely with our registered nutritionist to deliver great-tasting food that provides choice, nutrition and a balanced approach to diet.

We love educating our customers about making healthier choices, and giving them the tools to recognise which meals will best suit their daily needs.

Our menus are developed to meet a wide range of dietary requirements, and are supported by full nutritional breakdowns.
