ESS, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has appointed Daniel Moloney as business director for its Energy and Infrastructure sectors.

Daniel joined ESS 13 years ago and has progressed through a variety of frontline and leadership positions, both on and offshore. In his new role, he will take overall operational responsibility for 25 contracts and more than 1,000 employees.

ESS’s Energy business specialises in providing foodservice and facilities management to the offshore sector and related industries, with its Infrastructure business focusing on supporting remote camps and major construction projects across the UK.

Daniel brings extensive knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to continue the company’s success in both sectors.

Since joining ESS, Daniel has taken advantage of the wide range of development and progression opportunities available within the business, including completing an SVQ Level 7 Management apprenticeship. He is passionate about supporting the future of ESS by helping his teams to achieve their own ambitions and potential.

Daniel’s priorities include continuing to deliver high-quality services safely and efficiently, bringing the benefits of business-wide innovation to the Energy and Infrastructure sectors and delivering social value to local communities.
